Kurze Zusammenfassung
Wilhelm, the administrator, and the Convent of Sint-Gerlach Houthem declare that, with the consent of the dean and the chapter of St. Servatius Church in Maastricht, they have erected a wall around their convent on the chapter’s vacant land. To this end, they have acquired from this estate, both beneath the wall and within the wall, an area one acre in length and one rod in width on the Berg side. In return, they pay an annual ground rent of two Liège pennies to St. Servatius Church in Berg on the first Sunday after St. Andrew’s Day. With this authorization of freehold, the provost and convent of Sint-Gerlach that they have acquired no further rights to the estates of St. Servatius.

Noverint universi quod nos de consensu et voluntate virorum venerabilium decani et .. capituli ecclesie sancti Seruatii Traiectensis murum qui ambit claustrum nostrum, in allodio dicte ecclesie sancti Seruatii fundavimus et locavimus, ita videlicet quod in ea parte muri que respicit contra villam de Berghe, tam in muro quam infra murum, unum bonuarium terre secundum longitudinem et unam virgatam terre, decem et septem videlicet pedes, secundum latitudinem de dicto allodio optinemus. De quo siquidem allodio pro certa recognitione duos denarios Leodiensis dicte ecclesie et in eius villa de Berghe proximo die dominico post festum sancti Andree apostoli in censum heriditare solvere promittimus et tenemur. Per predictam autem dicti allodii concessionem nichil amplius iuris nobis recognoscimus acquisitum vel deinceps acquirendum in bonis ecclesie supradicte.

Willem, proost, en het convent van het premonstratenzerklooster Sint-Gerlach verklaren dat ze met instemming van deken en kapittel van de Sint-Servaaskerk te Maastricht in het allodium van de Sint-Servaaskerk een muur rond hun klooster hebben gebouwd. Hiervoor hebben zij in het gedeelte van de muur aan de zijde van Berg uit dat allodium zowel onder de muur als erbinnen één bunder in de lengte verworven en één roede in de breedte, namelijk 17 voet. Daarvoor zullen zij op de eerste zondag na Sint-Andreas aan de Sint-Servaaskerk een erfelijke jaarrente van twee penning Luiks betalen te Berg. Met deze vergunning van het allodium erkennen proost en convent van Sint-Gerlach geen verder recht verworven te hebben in de goederen van Sint-Servaas.
Het klooster Sint-Gerlach heeft bezegeld.
