The Dean and the Chapter of St. Servatius Church in Maastricht announce that they have received a document from the administrator and the convent of Sint-Gerlach Houthem dated September 6, 1279, and reproduce the text. Universis presentes litteras inspecturis .. decanus et .. capitulum ecclesie beati Seruatii Traiectensis salutem in Domino sempiternam.
Noveritis nos litteras .. prepositi et .. conventus sancti Gerlaci, ordinis Premonstratensis, super quodam contractu inter nos et ipsos habito recepisse per hec verba:
