Brief summary
Otto of Gulik, provost of the chapter of St. Servaas in Maastricht and archdeacon of Liege, declares that the goods and revenues of the court of Kückhoven with the stewardship do not belong to the provost but to the chapter.

Otto de Iuliaco, Dei gratia prepositus ecclesie Beati Seruatii Traiectensisa necnon .. archidiaconus Leodiensis, universisb quos presens scriptum videre contigerit in Domino salutem sempiternam.
Noveritis quod bona seu redditus curie de Kodichouen cum villicationec eiusdem curie specialiter spectant ad .. capitulum ecclesie nostre Sancti Seruatii predicti et quod numquam de ipsius curie bonis seu redditibus et villicatione predictis tanquam de nostre prepositure redditibus nos intromisimus nec nos intronittered intendimus, sed dictum .. capitulum per nos et nostros amicos in dicta curia et in suo iure cupimus potius promoveri.

Otto van Gulik, proost van het Sint-Servaaskapittel te Maastricht en aartsdiaken van Luik, maakt bekend dat de goederen en inkomsten van de hof van Kückhoven met het rentmeesterschap van die hof in het bijzonder aan het kapittel toebehoren en dat hij hierop nooit inbreuk heeft gemaakt alsof het inkomsten van zijn proosdij waren en dat ook niet van plan is, maar dat hij en zijn vrienden er eerder naar verlangen om het kapittel in deze hof en hun recht daarin te bevorderen.
