Brief summary
Margareta, nun of the convent of St. Gerlach in Houthem, daughter of Wolter and Oda van Stercbeeke, has bought 48,000m2 of land in Dirgarden for the benefit of an annual wine donation to the convent. She has also bought twelve shillings of Liege in Heek for the benefit of a donation to the convent on the feast days of St. Catharina, St. John the Evangelist and St. Nicholas. She has also bought 35kg of rye in Haasdal, to pay the convent for the memorial service on the anniversary of the death of Mathilde, formerly the lady of Berg. In the farmstead of Raar she has bought 9,540m2 of land to hold everlasting memorial services on the anniversary of the death of her father Wolter and her mother Oda van Stercbeeke. For the lamp of St. Gerlach in the church of St. Gerlach she has bought 4,000m2 of land, located there in the fields, and 35kg of rye in the court of Raar, to be paid annually for the lamp above the choir of the convent of St. Gerlach.

Universis quibus presens scriptum videre contigerit, notum sit et certum quod Margareta, monialis sancti Gerlaci, emit apud Dirgarde sex bonnaria terre ad pitantiam vini ad opus conventus ibidem annuatim habendam, item emit apud Heeke in honorem beate Katharine, Iohannis evangeliste et Nicolai XII solidos Leodiensis ad pitantiam conventus in eorum festis habendam, item emit apud Havekesdael dimidium modium siliginis annuatim pro anniversario domine Machtildis, quondam domine de Berges, conventui persolvendum, item apud Rodere in curte emit tria iurnalia terre pro anniversariis patris sui Walteri et matris sue Ode de Stercbeeke perpetue faciendo, item ad lampadem sancti Gerlaci in ecclesia ipsius emit dimidium bonnarium terre quod situm est in campo ibidem, item apud Rodere in curte emit dimidium modium siliginis annuatim persolvendum ad lampadem super chorum conventus beati Gerlaci.

Het zij bekend dat Margareta, non van Sint-Gerlach, zes bunder land heeft gekocht te Dirgarden ten behoeve van een jaarlijkse wijnpitantie aan het convent; ook heeft zij te Heek twaalf schelling Luiks gekocht ten behoeve van een pitantie aan het convent op de feestdagen van de heilige Katharina, Johannes Evangelist en Nicolaas; eveneens heeft zij te Haasdal een half mud rogge gekocht, aan het convent te voldoen voor het jaargetijde van Mathilde, eertijds vrouwe van Berg; ook heeft zij te Raar in de hof drie morgen land gekocht om eeuwig de jaargetijden van haar vader Wolter en haar moeder Oda van Stercbeeke te houden; eveneens heeft zij voor de lamp van sint Gerlach in de kerk van Sint-Gerlach een halve bunder land gekocht, daar gelegen in het veld; verder heeft zij te Raar in de hof een half mud rogge gekocht, jaarlijks te voldoen voor de lamp boven het koor van het convent van Sint-Gerlach.
