Cum de voluntate et assensu domini Friderici, imperatoris, dilectus noster consanguineus Otto, Traiectensis prepositus, ecclesiam Sancti Iohannis Baptiste in Traiecto cum omnibus suis appendiciis ad communes usus et ad communem refectionem fratribus ecclesie Beati Servatii in Traiecto dederit, cum idem fratres et ipsa ecclesia Beati Servatii ex mandato dicti domini imperatoris nobis sint commissi regendi et promovendi, de voluntate et assensu fratris nostri Hugonis, Leodiensis episcopi, dictam donationem ratam habemus, approbamus et confirmamus, huic scripto sigillum nostrum apponentes.

Engelbert, aartsbisschop van Keulen, maakt bekend dat zijn bloedverwant Otto, proost (van het Sint-Servaaskapittel) te Maastricht, met instemming van keizer Frederik de Sint-Janskerk te Maastricht met alle aanhorigheden ten bate van het gemeenschappelijk gebruik en ten behoeve van de refter aan de broeders heeft gegeven.
